New to Amazon Prime in July

Movies trump TV shows in number in terms of Amazons Prime’s additions for this month. However, there is plenty of new content in both categories to help pass the hot summer days and nights. Following is a synopsis of what you can look forward to in July.

Chief among the new TV additions to Prime in July is the sixth and final season of The Americans. This series tells the story of a family of spies living in the U.S. from a unique and personal perspective. If you are looking for an engaging plot and stellar acting, The Americans is an obvious pick.

The classic police drama, NYPD Blue also arrives this month, and includes all 12 seasons of its airing. All seven seasons of Burn Notice and The Closer round out a solid listing of new TV shows this month.
